| Traveling isn't exactly what you may call "instant" and thus there are rules to get around. First up when your traveling by yourself or with others. (It doesn't speed it up any >=O, unless one of them is someone from the nation you're traveling to.) Without someone from that nation to guide you it is a minimum 1,000 words to get past the initial region. (Lightning Plains, The Red Death, The Churning Sea, The Tunnel Way, and Winding Peaks.) If you do happen to have someone from that nation with you it only requires a minimum of 500 words. These areas cannot be avoided. (I mean c'mon? Didn't you read the descriptions? They are pretty brutal areas...) Traveling posts will most likely be checked to make sure you didn't cheat your way through... Hey, don't forget to have fun whether you're in the desert that cooks you alive, plains that zap you, a sea that rocks your boat, tunnels filled with demons that find you delicious, or peaks that are just gusts of fun.
Summary:
1,000 words normal
500 words if someone from designated nation is with you.
If your rank is "Knight" then you are not allowed to leave your country of origin without permission from your King.
If your rank is "General" you may leave only after informing the king, no permission needed.
